Carter Augustine is an associate in the firm’s employment and business litigation practice groups. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving workplace rights, wage and hour and FLSA matters, restrictive covenant disputes, and commercial and contractual litigation.

Carter earned his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, where he served on the school’s Law Review. His work was published in the 41st Edition of the Georgia State University Law Review. While in law school, Carter also worked as a graduate research assistant, contributing to scholarly legal projects in the areas of cultural heritage law and voting rights law.

Before law school, Carter graduated from the University of Georgia, where he developed an early interest in the intersection of law, business, and public policy. His experience at UGA provided the foundation for his legal career and remains an important influence on his professional path.

Carter is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before all Georgia trial courts and the Court of Appeals of Georgia. Carter has also been admitted to the U.S. Federal District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia.

Outside the office, Carter enjoys college football, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
