David is originally from Belchertown, Massachusetts. David graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, then obtained his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law, graduating in May 2014.
While in law school, David served as a Senior Member of the Law Review, a Member of the Chester Bedell Memorial Mock Trial Team, an Associate Justice to the FSU Student Supreme Court, Treasurer of the Cuban American Bar Association, and was awarded the Richard M. Davis Scholarship Recipient for Outstanding Academic Merit and Service to the Law School. Upon graduation, David was inducted into the Florida State University Chapter of the Order of the Coif.
His primary practice areas are civil, business, and employment litigation. David brings his litigation experience to his practice, having worked at a number of litigation firms, including Burr & Forman (Orlando, Florida), Barrett, Fasig & Brooks (Tallahassee, Florida), Mitchell & Shapiro (Atlanta, Georgia) and Moorman & Pieschel (Atlanta, Georgia). His experience spans a variety of practice areas including medical malpractice, business and civil litigation, employment litigation, and appeals.
Prior to and during his career at Parks, Chesin & Walbert, P.C., David has gained experience in nearly every stage of litigation, including mediations, depositions, client intakes and meetings, case strategy and research, discovery, document drafting, and appeals, which allows David to effectively serve his clients throughout the entire litigation process and beyond.
David practices law throughout the state of Georgia and is admitted before all trial and appellate courts in Georgia, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Employment Lawyers Association. David helps enhance the Atlanta community by serving as a judge for local high school mock trial competitions and by his contributions to the Atlanta-based non-profit organization CURE Childhood Cancer.
